The Power of Choice

Anyone that knows me knows I’m a huge fan of Tara Gentile‘s work. However, in case you haven’t heard me raving about her (and ranting how she “stole” my idea of Insanitek), here’s a little bit of info about her borrowed right from her about me page:

  • A customer-obsessed business strategist who works with a global clientele on making a bigger impact with their businesses for less heartache
  • Creator of Kick Start Labs, a microbusiness community and resource library where over 200 members support each other in navigating the New Economy
  • She’s also the founder of CoCommercial in Astoria, Oregon–a coworking and education space for independent works and thinkers. <– This is what I claim she “stole”. 😉

Obviously, she’s awesome for those alone, but she’s also got an experimental style that I just can’t get enough of. Her blog is insanely useful for budding entrepreneurs and those that just want to push their day job to new heights.

A couple weeks ago, I came across this video interview between Tara and Dr.  Samantha, a naturopath, where they have a bit of heart to heart about stress.

Take Control of Your Health with Dr. Samantha — at CoCommercial from tara gentile on Vimeo.

Take aways:

  • We are in control, and we can choose what we do.
  • This power of choice is what gives us the ability to master our stress.

I like the idea of being master of my own world and health.
